The purpose of this ministry is to provide opportunities for women to grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Also, to equip and encourage one another so that we may exercise our faith together for God's glory by fulfilling our Biblical roles in the family, church, community and the world.
Standard Meeting Time: The fourth Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
Who Can Participate:  Any woman or young lady in Pilgrim Rest or any other church who has the desire to participate.
Our ministry has several projects in which we are involved.  The Pilgrim Rest House provides clothes and some household items for needy families.  The Feed the Hungry Project provides food for the needy at Poindexter Park periodically. The Sick and Shut-in Member Project-Sick members are called regularly and visited.  The Prison Project allows us to provide toiletries and other items for female inmates.  The Salvation Army Project allows us to to help with different projects depending on the needs.  The Nursing Home Project is a vital part of what we do as members of the Pilgrim Rest family.  Men and women come together to serve some of the spiritual needs of the residences of five different nursing homes.  This is done each third Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
