The Pilgrim Rest Sunday School is part of the teaching and training arm of the church.  Its purpose is to prepare Christian church members for evangelism.  It equips its participants to be strong in His might, knowing His Word is true.

The Pilgrim Rest Sunday School is organized in three divisions:  Primary, grades 0 - 5, Junior, grades 6 - 12, Senior, Adult ages 18 and up, and Orientation, all new members.  Each division has designated objectives to be taught during the tenure of the division.  Each division meets separately in various areas of the Church.  Each division has a leader who is responsible for conducting the Sunday School until general assembly for all the divisions.  The primary focus of each Sunday‚Äôs lesson is taken from the National Baptist Sunday School program for church affiliates.


Standing Meeting Time: Monthly Staff Meetings

1st Saturday in every quarter @ 8:30 a.m. in EAC

All Officers, Division Directors, Teachers, and Assistant Teachers are required to attend.

Who can participate: Sunday School membership is open to all who have an interest in Christ. 

Additional Information:
Pilgrim Rest Sunday School meets at 8:30 a.m. on 1st and 5th Sunday and at  9:30 a.m on 2nd-4th Sunday. 
All members of the Sunday School are asked to financially support the Sunday School.  All members are asked to give cheerfully and generously to the support of the Sunday School.
