An Attitude of Gratitude
1 Chronicles 29:10-14

Gratitude is a state of being. We should give thanks to God in good times and in bad. In every situation or circumstance, we should give thanks. Gratitude for God's blessings should be one of the most distinctive marks to believers in Christ Jesus.

“WHY GRATITUDE IS GOOD”
1) It’s an affirmation of goodness
2) the sources of this goodness are outside of ourselves

“WHAT GOOD IS GRATITUDE”
1)Gratitude allows celebration of the present
2)Gratitude blocks toxic emotions
3)Grateful people are more stress-resilient
4)Gratitude strengthens social ties and self-worth

A GRATITUDE ATTITUDE KNOWS:
1. Everything we have comes from God.
2 God is the owner; we are the managers.
3. Our ability to give is a gift from God.

Religion That Helps You Recover
Mark 8:22

Men brought a blind man to Jesus to get his sight. This passage is not only about a blind man receiving his sight, it is about the church getting their sight also.

Not long prior to this event, Jesus sat down in a desert place and the multitude followed him. This is when Jesus fed the five thousand.

The blind man had no vision and his friends took him to Jesus. All his friends had their sight and were concerned about their friend. When they got to Jesus, He took the blind man from them. He took him to the outside of the town and prayed for him and healed him. Jesus told him to not go back to the town and. It to tell anyone.

God has delivered some of us and we don't have to tell anyone, because they can see for themselves. Thank God for a religion that helps us recover!
