The goal of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Music Ministry is to minister to the hearts and minds of worshippers, encourage believers through the ministry of music, and prepare sinners to receive God's plan of salvation through the preached Word of God.
What is it then?  I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Blessed with the gift of music as a child, I started playing the drums at 3yrs old. My parents recognized I wasn’t “just banging,” but that I had a God-given talent.  I begin playing for my church at 4yrs old, however, at the time, drums were not allowed in our denomination (Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A.) except for special occasions and during the National Convention.
