"They Have A Fight On Their Hands"
2 Chronicles 20:10-19
By: Rev. Alvin Carter

Jehoshaphat was a good kind and was of the linage of David. His father Asa always didn't do things correctly. Jehoshaphat was a business man. Not all the deals he made was in the best interest of a God's people.

Jehoshaphat took everything he did to the Lord in prayer. It's good when we have leaders who aren't afraid of prayer. He had many men in his military. He didn't rely on their ammunition, he relied on God to win his fights.

1. Method of a Leader's Prayer
2 Chronicles 20:5-12
They had invaders in the land that God had promised them. When he found out, Jehoshaphat began to pray right in the spot. His God were bigger than his problems. He gave reference to God's track record.

2. Men In a Likely Position
2 Chronicles 20:13-17
They just didn't bring the military to get closer to the Lord, they brought their whole families. The king was the one that prayed, but God didn't send an answer to the one that prayed. God sent an answer to their prayers through the Minster of Music, Jahaziel.

They were told to go down against them. They will face their trouble, but won't have to fight it. God wants us to stare our troubles back to face...have courage and faith! God is not afraid to show us who He is, if we aren't afraid to stand for what is right!

3. Moment for the Lord's Praise
2 Chronicles 20:18-19
After the king and the people got word that the Lord will fight their battle, He turned the enemy against each other. Jehosophat bowed his head with his face to the ground and worshiped God and all the people did the same.

Don't worry about your fight, just get your praise on!

Subject: A Miracle At A Marriage

Sermon text: John 2:1-11

1. A bride and groom who wanted Jesus present.
- In whatever you do, always invite Jesus in
- Invite Him in your home, workplace, marriage
- Jesus will make the difference!

2. A bride and groom who needed the presence of Jesus.
- They ran out of wine and needed Jesus
- As Jesus addressed his Mother, He was reluctant because God had not affirmed that it was the appointed time.
- God used Mary to let Jesus know that His time had come.
- Mary advised the servants to do as Jesus asked
- This was Jesus' first miracle , and just as they did with the pots, we should empty ourselves to be used by Jesus.

3. A bride and groom who were blessed by the presence of Jesus.
- Jesus reveals Himself at the marriage feast
- Jesus provided.
- Jesus will bless you with greater
- He will give you a new attitude, perspective, state of mind
